Gloucester is a town near Boston. There you can find some things that have to do with New Kids. Also Gloucester is a very beautiful place, so if you have

the chance to visit that town don´t lose it: it was one of the first english colonies in the northeast of America.

Gloucester is a fishermen town. There are some films based in Gloucester fishermen adventures (like Captains courageous from Spencer Tracey). The most famous monument in Gloucester is the fishermen in honor of they that go down to the sea in ships.

Short time ago the town was once again the place that inspired one hollywood film:The Perfect Storm. The film tell us the real history about some fishermen from Gloucester. The main actors are George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg and the film was really successful.

Although Mark wasn´t ever a New Kids former every fan has a special care about him `cause he´s Donnie´s brother. You can visit there some places that appeare in the film which it´s so nice anyway.

The movie was filmed in Gloucester in the fall of 1999 and the premiere in USA was the 30^th of juny 2000. During the time that the film was shoted there

was a frenetic rithem in the town. Also now the people from Gloucester are so proud of the film. It´s so easy in the town to find a map with every place were the film stuff worked and that you can see in the film. There are some shops with merchandising of the film too.

Also there is another reason that join the group with Gloucester. In summer and fall ’95 Joe was working with Gloucester Stage Company in the theatre play Barking Sharks.

Israel Horovitz was the director of the play and Joe had the double role (father and son); of Eddie. The play was performed for a long time so there were a lot of fans that could enjoy seeing Joe on stage.
